Pledges for this year’s match were over £10,000 to go on top of the £30,000 raised so far for the hospice down the years. The team result is not announced until the presentati­on night but individual­ly the Cheshire Oaks Fishery, a venue that has not yet opened its doors to the public, produced the leading weights.
