MAKE LIGHT OF THE LOAD!

Octbox D25 won’t weigh you down

-

OCTBOX D25 SYSTEM SEATBOX

RRP: £350 YOU’LL not find a lighter box on the market than the D25, which weighs an incredible 13.5kg when fitted out with the supplied drawers and footplate.

But weight is only half the battle when picking a new box.

The D25 certainly doesn’t disappoint in terms of storage, extras and, of course, reliability when you’re actually sitting fishing on it!

A simple compact box for the angler who fishes commercial carp waters, the D25 boasts the same four drawer configuration as the D36 – three 2cm deep and one 4cm deep cross drawers – plus Octbox’s legendary height adjustment frame housed on the main box legs. This enables you to adjust the height without having to fiddle with all four legs.

If you want to add more trays, drawers or even a deep base, you can pick from a possible 30 configurations from the wide range sold separately. This means the D25 can be built into the system that’s right for you and your fishing.

A main difference of the D25 compared to the 36 is the use of 25mm round legs, which still deliver 100 per cent stability with absolutely no lateral movement whatsoever, even with the legs fully extended.

The legs on the right-hand side have two inner posts that can be extended and are fitted with threads to which you can connect pole socks or any accessory that you fancy.

Each leg is fitted with a standard mudfoot, and if you invest in an outrigger system you can turn the D25 into a platform that’ll put the front legs over 6ft off the ground, the rear legs able to be extended to 2ft, which makes the box perfect for commercial fisheries or platform swims when you want extra reach into the water. Even then, there’ll be no movement of the box when you sit on it. In terms of a footplate, the rocksolid non-slip model of the D25 slides out from under the frame.

This features the brilliant Octbox adaptor bar that can be extended by a full 18ins to make for a solid station on which to fix a bump bar when fishing the long pole.
