THERE’S a definite nod to commercial carp fishing in the six-rod Yank ‘n’ Bank feeder range, that will deal with everything from a short chuck with a tiny pellet feeder on snake lakes right through to blasting a loaded Method feeder to the horizon on big lakes. All share Daiwa’s legendary quality.

Retailing at just £89.99 each, buying a Yank ‘n’ Bank rod won’t punish the wallet and you’ll get a classy piece of kit that packs the right levels of power, casting accuracy, weight and action. Don’t think they’re only for big fish, though, as each rod is equally at home fishing for bream and skimmers on lakes or running water.

The 9ft and 10ft Mini Method rods are ideal for short- range feeder work, stepping up to the 11ft Method for longer casts or the 11ft Power Method when bigger fish are on the menu. The final two rods in the range are built for long casts and come in at 12ft long. Again, standard or power versions are on offer.

Casting action on all six rods is crisp, to put the feeder just where you want it, and the response on the strike is the same, with plenty of backbone further down the high-grade blank that includes 1K woven carbon to wind big fish in and get them in the net when under the rod tip.

With stainless frame guides and lightweight LS rings, plus a cork/EVA Armlock handle with down-locking DPS reel seat, all feeder rods are supplied in a padded Daiwa rod case.
