THE BIG ONE SET TO BE EVEN BIGGER IN 2018!
High ticket demand likely to push visitor numbers beyond 20,000
THIS year’s Big One show looks set to be a record breaker.
With a new venue, advance ticket sales up 20 per cent and VIP packs almost sold out, The Big One 2018 is almost certain to be the biggest ever in the 27-year history of the event.
A new venue in Farnborough, Hants, and more exhibitors has contributed to the increased demand for tickets, according to organiser Vince Davies.
“I am confident that last year’s figure of 20,000 visitors will be eclipsed this year,” he said. “The new exhibition centre in Farnborough covers 18,000 square metres and will hold 200-plus exhibitors, two theatres and a lure angling and boat area.
“On top of all this there’s another floor with a huge catering area, licensed bar and seating space
“Visitors will once again be able to buy discounted tackle, meet the angling’s stars and learn new ways to improve their fishing – all in a spacious environment.
“This is why The Big One Show will be event of the year.”
As usual, visitors will get to meet some of the greatest names and tackle companies in the industry, including Steve Ringer, Martin Bowler, Korda and Preston Innovations – and all will be on hand over the two days to help with any angling questions you may have.
