A DECENT turnout for Sunday’s match saw Ash Tomkins finish out in front with 83-4-0 of carp to 6lb.

The Tackle UK-backed matchman drew peg 52 on Hill View Lake, where he fished maggot and pellet into open water at 14m.

He ended the day just over 17lb in front of Kev Abigail’s second-best 66-2-0 off peg 74 on Ash Lake.
