THE Big One Show 2018 is set to be the best yet, as more than 30 of the biggest names in the sport confirm their attendance for the two-day event.
The show, which will run over the weekend of March 24 and 25, will offer plenty of opportunities for visitors to meet their idols, collect autographs and chat about all things fishing.
Match fishing fanatics are well catered for this year – four-times World Champion Bob Nudd will be available on the Browning stand, match ace Des Shipp can be found on the Preston Innovations stall, while commercial master Steve Ringer will be on both the Daiwa and Guru stands.
Steve told Angling Times: “The Big One is a fantastic event and I’m looking forward to meeting new people and helping them put more fish in the net.
“Each year the show seems to get even more popular, and it’s no surprise when you see just how many big-name anglers and manufacturers attend each year.”
Carp anglers are also well catered for at The Big One, with Alan Blair, Tom Dove, Darrell Peck and Ian Chillcott all making an appearance.
For the chance to interact with the stars, visitors can attend a number of live seminars across two state-of-the-art theatres, where they can pitch questions to their favourite anglers and improve their fishing with advice on different aspects of the sport from the experts.
