OLLY’S TOP 5 TIPS
1 In cold conditions the extra movement of a dendrobaena will get you more bites. 2 Perch love scent, and a combination of chopped and liquid worms always grabs their attention.
3 I prefer a fluorocarbon hooklength for perch to overcome their caution. 4 Build your swim with regular recasting and if there is a shoal in front of you, no matter how cold it is, a bite will eventually come.
5 Many of the waters I fish are club or day-ticket, so don’t assume big fish aren’t available to everyone.
