BURY HILL FISHERIES, DORKING, SURREY

-

As the spring weather warms, Milton Lake will come into its own, when the formidable numbers of big roach and rudd, crucians and tench begin to show. The venue is feature-filled with islands, lilies and reed-lined margins. Target these areas with a pole or simple waggler approach. Baits for the tench and crucians include pellet, corn and maggots. Fish these over a small bed of groundbait. There are also plenty of perch in this lake which are partial to a worm. Try booking a punt on Old Bury Hill Lake for the chance of some specimen tench.
