Old River Nene, March (44 pegs) The season drew to a close on this prolific venue with another good match, which was won by Matrix Image man James Drakulic with 25-10-0 of mainly skimmers to 12oz plus a few roach off peg 14 in the narrows down from Wigston’s Bridge. James fished pinkie over groundbait at 8m to get clear of Mark Pollard who, from a few pegs away, fished pinkie and groundbait across to a moored boat to weigh in 23-8-0 of roach, hybrids and skimmers.
