BACK SHOT YOUR RIG

Angling Times (UK) - - THE COACH -

Try a stiffer mainline of 0.15mm, as this helps to minimise tangles around the float when shipping out at speed. On windy days it can pay to use a string of No10 back shots above the float too, as these help you to maintain control of the float in choppy water. It also helps you keep a tight line between pole tip and float, which means you’ll miss far fewer bites.
