IN KENT, the garden of England, you will find the fantastic Manor Fisheries complex, which boasts something for anglers of all ages and abilities.
On site you can discover three lakes, available on a pre-booking basis, enabling you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings without interruption from too many other anglers.
But which water should you head to for your rod-bending fix this weekend? Angling Times caught up with Mike Morrison, who has owned the fishery for of 10 years, and he was happy to tell us about his lakes.
“We’re now in our 10th year of running the fishery, having made some big changes in that time,” he said.
“I wanted to create a pretty and safe environment, perfect for anglers to relax, alongside bringing their partners and children to fish. I do what I can to keep irresponsible anglers away, hence the pre-booking policy and an angler limit on each lake. Every winter we close, to give the fishery a rest, and carry out stock management – because of this, every lake is thriving.”
