GAME FISHING SHOW A BIG HIT

THE BIGGEST UK game fishing show of the year was a resounding success after hundreds of visitors attended the free, two-day event.

The Sportfish Reading Show took place over the weekend of May 12-13 and welcomed visitors to join the annual celebration of game fishing.

Here they enjoyed a full programme of demonstrations and seminars, competitions and show deals against a backdrop of two of the finest stillwater trout fisheries in the UK.

All the leading stars and manufacturers in the game industry attended too, from Sportfish ambassador, James Stokoe to fishing legend Charles Jardine.

The next free Sportfish event will take place next year on May 10 and 11 at the Sportfish Game Fishing Centre, Reading, Berkshire.
