Bob Nudd on top at big Irish festival
...but it’s close at the finish as he wins by a mere 800g
THE mighty Bob Nudd took victory in this five-day clash, the Browning man totalling 29-950 to finish just 800g in front of James O’Doherty.
Bob kicked off with 8-850 from Lough Scur, before adding weights of 6-450 at Garradice, 0-150 of perch and 2-700 from Connolly’s Shore.
He rounded off with 11-800 on the final day to come from seventh to top spot, bagging skimmers on the pole with maggot from Lough Scur.
