GERMAN ROD FELIX IS A QUIETLY TAKES THREE SECTIONS FOR VICTORY

GERMAN rod Felix Scheuermann took this three-day bash with a perfect three section wins, ending the event three points clear of Sean Wright to return to the Continent with a fistful of cash – albeit in pounds, not Euros!

He didn’t feature in the frame on any of the days, instead doing his talking in the harder sections to emerge victorious.

Day one winner was Dean Jacques with 53-12-0 of bream and skimmers on the feeder from peg 7. Mark Turner took day two with 45-12-0 of bream and skimmers at peg 10 on the same approach.

The final day went to German Jens Koschnik with 31-12-0 at peg 16, where feeder with maggot and worm produced a net of bream and skimmers.
