Two-lake Bearley provides a home for fish to 37lb
IF YOU’RE a carp angler looking for some quiet and intimate fishing in beautiful surroundings, then Bearley Lakes is the place for you. The two-lake venue located close to Yeovil in Somerset offers luxury holiday accommodation with some immaculate fish to target.
Booking the lakeside caravan on Rowan Lake will give you exclusive fishing of the two acres of water containing 180 carp to 26lb as well as pike,chub,roach, rudd and perch for the days when the carp are being moody. The lake has five well-spaced wood-chipped swims with a double peg right outside the caravan door. There are plenty of features on this lake, with reed-lined margins, a large island and depths from 2ft-10ft.
The neighbouring Syndicate Lake is a bit larger at 3.5 acres and offers non-exclusive fishing with two well maintained caravans to choose from. Each of the caravans has its own private pathway to the lake which is stocked with carp of all strains up to 37lb. Other species such as pike, chub and roach are also present.
There is a small syndicate on this lake due to the quality of the fishing, but the numbers of members who can fish the lake at any one time are limited to ensure holiday guests get a good choice of the nine swims.
The fishery provides each caravan with a tackle shed, bait fridge/ freezer and nets, cradles and slings. Quality boilies and pellets can also be purchased on site, and the price of the holiday includes accommodation with bedding and towels.
