TICKETS FLY OUT FOR ANGLING’S BIGGEST SHOWS

Organisers add more VIP passes as stars sign up

- IAN JONES

ANGLERS across the country have been urged to get in quick after thousands of tickets for 2019’s Big One shows were snapped up within days of going on sale.

Last week we revealed plans for the hugely popular Farnborough event in March next year... and that there would also be a brilliant new Midlands show to be held at Stoneleigh, Warks, in April.

And now, after rapid sales in just the first week, organisers are adding more VIP packages to both events to cope with demand.

The Big One Show director, Vince Davies, said: “Not only are the standard tickets selling well but the VIP passes for both shows have proved incredibly popular.

“They cost £45 for one day and come with a number of perks – including exclusive parking close to the venue, a match, coarse, sea or carp bait bucket of your choice worth around £60, as well as a food voucher.

“These tickets have sold extremely quickly, and we have added more to the 2019 shows to keep up with demand.”

In a double delight for fishermen across the country, Angling Times can also exclusively reveal that Shimano, Wychwood, Sticky Baits, Sonik, and RidgeMonkey have all confirmed they will be attending both events in 2019, bringing new tackle and bait innovations to a projected record attendance.

These tackle giants will also be joined by many of fishing’s biggest stars who’ll reveal their secrets in a new Super Demo Arena at Farnborough and Super Theatre at Stoneleigh.

“I don’t want to reveal too much yet, but I can confirm that we’re well ahead of schedule for exhibitors signing up for both shows,” Vince added.

“It’s especially exciting news about the Stoneleigh show, with lots of major manufacturers and retailers now booking in.

“Our feedback from the customers already shows that they’re happy there is going to be a quality show in the Midlands – one with great car parking and easy access.

“Check out Angling Times each week and the Big One website for updates on both shows.”
