ORGANISERS of the UK’s biggest fishing shows have revealed there will be entertainment galore at their two Big One events in 2019, with the addition of new ‘Super Demo Theatres’ and interactive ‘Lure Live’ areas.
The events – the first at Farnborough on March 23 & 24 and the second at Stoneleigh on April 13 & 14 – will see a host of experts revealing their secrets to the huge crowds.
Farnborough’s Super Demo Arena will feature an indoor fishing lake for the experts to show off their skills, and there’ll be demos of pole, feeder, and floatfishing.
A ‘Lure Live’ area will feature manufacturers, retailers and a huge lure testing tank so you’ll be able watch the UK’s best predator fishermen in action.
Show director Vince Davies told Angling Times: “We wanted to create rounded shows which offered the chance for visitors to see the latest new tackle and baits, and also have the opportunity to sit back, relax and pick up great advice from the biggest stars in fishing.
“I have to keep the names of the special guests a secret at present, but we have some really incredible anglers and TV stars lined up.”
