DREAM CARP AT ELPHICKS

Up your personal best here, or fun-fish an easy runs water

-

IF YOU are after monster carp that grow in excess of 50lb then Elphicks is definitely the place to visit for your next angling break.

The seven-lake complex in Kent boasts a collection of five specimen carp lakes, one mixed coarse lake and one all-out runs water.

Everyone, from the serious specimen hunter to those looking for a fun family day out fishing, is catered for here.

Each lake has its own parking within easy reach of the all-weather swims, which are built of Astroturf, stone or bark.

The lodge and several areas of the lakes are disabled-friendly, with hard ramps and level swims to facilitate the use of wheelchairs.

Carp anglers can pick from the Plantation, Pullen’s, North, Prairie or West End Lakes which hold carp to 50lb-plus, with some big tench and perch also worth targeting.

Pleasure and match anglers are well looked after on Sandwich and Kettles Lakes. Sandwich is a 20-peg lake holding tench, bream, big perch, roach, rudd, chub and carp. Kettles was designed to introduce anglers to carp fishing, and is a well-stocked water supporting 25 swims.

You will be well fed throughout your visit, with the on-site café offering evening meals to those who pre-order.

The fishery lodge also does snacks and drinks as well as being the place to go for any bait or terminal tackle you may need to keep catching those specimen carp.
