New XS poles improve on the Response tradition

BRILLIANT as the original Response poles are, Preston Innovations set about going one better – enter the XS!

Sharing the Torayca Japanese carbon fibre, the new XS poles have that legendary stiffness and action. Preston has nailed it with additional internal and external reinforcements on each section, which significantly increase their lifespan and reduced damage in the long term. This means section wear is minimal and strength maintained.

Top kits have also received a makeover. The new Response versions measure 2.4m and there’s a choice of Power, Match and F1 kits, depending on the pole that you pick.

Each kit is lighter and stiffer to match the specs of the main pole while keeping the overall weight down and reducing the chances of a top-heavy performance.

Fitted inside the nose of the bottom section of each kit is an EVA elastic alignment cone that keeps elastic away from the internal wall, eliminating elastic sticking.

Kits are ready to fish as they come pre-bushed and fitted with Roller Pulla Bushes, which not only prevent elastic damage but significantly improve fish playing performance.

The Kupping Kit is equally impressive and super-stiff for potting in heavy helpings of bait at any distance, and each XS pole benefits from the new biconical mini extensions to fit several sections plus a standard half extension. Smooth shipping is guaranteed with Preston’s Easy Ship finish on all sections, along with a new graphite anti-stick butt section coating.
