COUNTDOWN TO THE BIG ONE, AND I’M SO EXCITED...
BLIMEY, only a month and it’s The Big One! I’m delighted to be MC’ing the Social Theatre, which sounds like a great excuse for a flipping good chat with some top, top anglers – among them Bob Nudd MBE, Adam Penning, Lee Kerry, Andy May, Ian Russell and Julian Cundiff.
Over the years they were all brilliant guests on Tight Lines and I’m looking forward to a good old catch-up.
The line-up in the John Wilson Legends theatre is magnificent, with live demos in an indoor pool from masters of their craft Steve Ringer and Tom Pickering.
Terry Hearn will be there, Ali, Dean and the Korda team and, for me at least, topping a superb bill is Jeremy Wade. Jeremy is now an international superstar. Everyone I meet in the USA asks if I know him, as River Monsters is absolutely huge there.
