This stretch has an abundance of most species including bream, perch, chub, roach, dace and barbel. The perch are a good target at this time of year, with fish to over 4lb present. Roving with lures or worms is a good way to locate the fish, at which point a more static approach can build a good net. Some decent chub of over 5lb can also be caught along here.
