Drennan Leicester Sensas man Gary Smith won from near the footbridge with a level 24-0-0 of roach, perch and a few small skimmers, using pinkie and groundbait at 6m. The same attack was adopted by runner-up Alex Bates from two pegs away, and he finished with 22-10-0 of roach. Factory Bank was a tough nut to crack, with 6lb winning there, while Benwick fished a little better, 15lb being needed to take the honours. Result:
