WHERE THE INVESTMENT WILL GO
● Support partners to organise and manage angling events, angling challenges for young people and family groups.
● Provide support, training and resources for club, coach and volunteer development.
● Ensure all events are run to high standards and provide clear routes for continued involvement with the sport and fishing licence purchase.
● Maintain a robust process for participant data collection.
● Provide more and better information on “how and where” to fish through new digital and video communication strategies.
● Track behaviour change through the customer journey plan.
● Ensure Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Angling standards are maintained in line with Child Protection in Sport Unit requirements
● Secure external funding to support angling participation delivery.
● Deliver an innovative targeted campaign that markets angling to specific targets in the non-angling or lapsed angling public, aligned to the customer journey plan.
