THE OBJECTIVES

Here are the Angling Trust’s objectives and full scope for developing angling participation over the next four years:

● Increase the number of active anglers and address the decline in fishing licence sales

● Introduce newcomers to the sport of angling, through organised events or coaching

● Provide clear routes and support for participants to continue fishing after the initial event or activity

● Work with partners involved in angling participation to maximise outcomes

● Promote angling participation opportunities and provide information to people who want to go fishing

● Identify and implement innovative ideas to increase angling participation

● Integrate with Sport England 2019-2021 to implement core market-funded delivery
