TREVOR’S TIPS FOR BREAM
FOCUS PERIODS: Evenings, nights and early mornings tend to be the best times for catching big pit bream, so concentrate your efforts accordingly.
FISH AT DISTANCE Bream like deep, clear areas, so you’ll need to master distance fishing… if you don’t have a boat!
TARGET HIGH PRESSURE:
I’ve found still nights with a full moon are the most productive, so if you can, aim to be on the bank at these times.
DON’T OVERDO THE BAIT: Don’t use too much high-protein bait for bream. If you want to pile it in, use particle baits because these won’t fill them up so quickly.
SEEK CLEAR SPOTS: Always fish clear areas for bream. Stay away from weedy ones at all times.
