Set up to target an area around 5m out and tap in a few morsels after every fish you land. Expect a real mixed bag fishing in this manner, with skimmers, tench and roach providing the mainstay of sport, with carp and F1s being the bonus fish.

“If you fancy ending the session with a big carp then up the feed late on and fish tight down the margins. Big hookbaits such as paste or double sweetcorn should ensure that you pick out a few potential personal bests!
