THESE hookbaits can be coloured and flavoured exactly how you want them, and they have a brilliant texture, enabling them to stay on the hair without being too hard.

1 To a large egg add half a spoonful of liquid flavouring and dye. Whisk.

3 Create a stiff paste, and roll this out to about 8mm thick.

4 Boil the flattened paste block for 90 seconds, then let it cool.

5 Use baitpunches to cut out the hookbaits to the size you want.

2 Slowly mix some boilie base mix into the liquid using a fork.
