ENJOY EVERY ASPECT

HAS there been a resurgence in river fishing this season? Stretches I fish on the Severn usually only see a handful of anglers in the first few weeks of the season but this year the river has been packed.

It’s great to see so many youngsters amongst them too. There’s no better way of learning the basics of good watercraft than fishing for wild fish on running water.

Let’s hope there’s a new generation out there who doesn’t automatically head straight to carp fishing. Mick Collier, Whitchurch
