PRESTON Innovations’ 2020 range of Inception boxes was a resounding hit, delivering top quality in terms of design, build and storage space.

Striking while the iron’s still hot, the Telford tackle giant has followed up with the new Inception Station, a seatbox that’s light years ahead of its stablemates!

Available in striking white or graphite colours, the new box builds on the success of the Inception range with many of the same features such as Mag-Lok clips, footplate locking plungers and soft touch handwheels. As you’d expect from a new box, though, there are plenty of new features that make the Station stand out.

Built around a super-strong and sleek-looking frame, weight is kept to a bare minimum and the low profile of the box makes it easy to fit snugly on to barrows or in the car boot. Totally solid, you can stand up to net fish with no fear of the legs slipping or something giving way.

There’s loads of storage space too, something that’s always the clincher when deciding which box to buy. The deep compartmented side drawer unit is big enough for a range of accessories, combined with the deep side drawer and removable dividers, which is ideal for stashing hooklength boxes, pole winders or any larger accessories.

The Station also comes with an empty shallow tray between the drawers and the pole seat which will hold a battery of pole rigs. As if that lot wasn’t enough, there’s also a sliding cassette under the box frame made up of a 26mm tray and lid, to which extra units can be added.

Legs are round, 30mm in diameter and all telescopic, finished off with large mudfeet. Adjustments to the box’s height are quick thanks to the soft touch handwheels. Finished with a highly robust non-slip sliding footplate with locking pins and a padded seat with deluxe padded shoulder strap, it looks like Preston Innovations has once again nailed down the ultimate seatbox for 2021!
