The Clay Pit is incredibly deep in the middle and, as water temperatur­es start to rise, look to catch on the short pole and in the margins.

The Coarse Lakes goes down to 17ft and holds quality roach and some good carp. Fish maggots shallow for the roach.

Pit C is a great water for a day’s pleasure fishing. It’s up to 15ft deep and home to a wide range of species, including tench and bream.

The 70-peg Reservoir is the deepest lake here, with depths down to 20ft. Target the margins or fish shallow on the pole or waggler further out. Book in advance.
