LETS SAVE LIVES: This is a weekly mental health group meeting on a Wednesday night from 7pm - 9pm at the Hayocks Community Centre, Stevenston. It’s free and all adults from the Three Towns are welcome. They can organise fully trained therapists if required. STEVENSTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY: The society meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Champion Shell Inn, Schoolwell Street to discuss various aspects of interest about the history of Stevenston. All are welcome.

HOPE IN THE COMMUNITY: The CLASP Resource Centre in Stevenston has a range of activities for the over 50s. Activities are held in the CLASP centre in Alexander Place unless otherwise stated.

Monday: Seated Zumba for mobility, movement and wellness 11.30am-12.30pm; beginners line dance and strolls with LeROC Ayrshire, 10.30am-12.30pm (Beith Community Centre); arts and crafts 1-3pm.

Tuesday: Beginners line dance and strolls with LeROC Ayrshire, 11.30am-1.30pm (St John’s Church, Stevenston); lunch club (booking required) followed by hall bingo 11.30am1.30pm and quiz time 1-3pm (Cumbrae Gardens, off Flatt Road, Largs).

Wednesday: Beginners line dance and strolls with LeROC Ayrshire, 10.30am-12.30pm (Dreghorn & Springside Church Hall). Thursday: West Kilbride Digital Group 10am12noon (computer room at West Kilbride Community Centre); seated Zumba 11.30am12.30pm (Barrmill Community Centre); lunch club (booking required) 12noon-1.15pm; sensory impairment team 12.30pm.

The group is also holding an outing to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum on Wednesday, March 27, leaving Stevenston and Largs at 10am and costing £10 per person (transport only). Book by calling 07493 306686.
