Women angels

-

INVESTING WOMEN is a growing community of women angel investors, women entrepreneurs seeking growth and those who want to help both. It is one of the partners for Argyll Enterprise Week.

Jackie Waring, founder and CEO at Investing Women, said: ‘We are really excited about coming to Argyll and being a part of Argyll Enterprise Week in Oban. ‘We will be delivering our Day with the Angels masterclass. ‘This is a highly interactive workshop where you can meet and talk to business angels, get tips on what makes your business attractive to investors, the process involved and what to prepare.

‘This is a very flexible session where we discuss your business and business model, how your company can be scaled and other financing opportunities which may be worth exploring.

‘You will have many opportunities to ask questions, meet other entrepreneurs, get help with your pitch and actually practise your pitch.’

There will be a wealth of expertise on hand and most of the Investing Women business angels have been and still are entrepreneurs who understand the journey.

Jackie added; ‘By helping more women into this space we are not only increasing the financial capital available for investment in young innovative companies; we are unleashing the wealth of talent, human and social capital that these women will bring to the table.’

Investing Women believes in more than the money – it is passionate about entrepreneurs and believes in parity not power in the way that business is done.
