AMONG a strong Mid Argyll entry, Feorlin Renton from Inveraray took part in Oban Provincial Mod. Feorlin won the Argyll and Bute Council Cup for singing in the 7 and 8 age group.

LOCH Fyne Food Fair saw around 4,000 people flock to the head of the loch in beautiful weather, enjoying the best food and drink the region has to offer accompanied by great music and plenty dancing.

ARMED Forces Day was marked in Lochgilphead in glorious sunshine. As this was the only such event of its kind in Argyll and Bute, veterans travelled from all over the region to take part and show support for service personnel and their families.
