LEARN, ACHIEVE ADVANCE IN 2017

-

GET 2017 off to a flying start by learning something new at Argyll College UHI. We have a number of part-time courses which can be a great first step into education and are perfectly suited to getting you started on the right track

Research has shown that about half of all adults make New Year’s resolutions, however, fewer than 10 per cent manage to keep them.

One of the main reasons that people don’t stick to their resolutions is that they set unrealistic goals.

A popular New Year’s resolution is to take up a new hobby, evening class, or get back into education, and at Argyll College UHI our aim is to help you achieve your learning goals.

Brush up on your computer skills with the European Computer Driving Licence: study at home and online at a time that fits around your other commitments. If you have a little more time on your hands you could consider a National Progression Award (NPA) in either Office Administration or Information Technology in Business.

We also have a number of short, full-time courses which can be completed before June 2017 and which will allow you to gain a recognised qualification in a shortened timescale, ready to move on to a job or higher level of study in September: these courses include NC Business, NC Administration, NC Travel and Tourism.

If you are considering a career in the health sector, our Access to Health and Social Care course is a great way to get started, and if you are already working in care you could complete and SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare or one of a number of Professional Development Awards (PDA).

As an academic partner of the University of the Highlands Islands, Argyll College also gives you access a wide range of part-time and full-time degree programmes, many of which can be started at the end of January.

Visit our website or call us to find out what’s available at your local Argyll College centre and make 2017 the year you learn, achieve, and advance towards your future.
