Kilmichael SWI enjoys delicious meeting in Kilmartin

-

SPECIAL guests for the March meeting of Kilmichael Glassary SWI were Everett and Jennifer from Marmalade Deli in Lochgilphead.

At the meeting, held in Kilmartin Church Hall on March 14, institute vice president Jane Gibson welcomed 12 members and friends.

After business was concluded, Jane introduced Everett and Jennifer. They explained how they try to source as many of their shop products locally, and with a very small environmental footprint.

Everett and Jennifer brought along some products for the gathering to sample, and all were received and enjoyed with great gusto.

This was a very entertaining and informative evening.

Tea, which was served by Betty Rhodick and helpers, was much enjoyed and a raffle for institute funds was drawn.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday April 12 at Kilmartin Church Hall where members are asked to bring along any articles they are working on for next year’s federation show and also to come armed with ideas for community entries.

Competitions for April 12 will be for a small flower arrangement and a ‘dairyfree’ cake - and please please bring the recipe.
