Dookers break duck in last game

PLAYING in their final match of the season, Tarbert secured their first point of the season with a victory at Cil Andreis on Saturday.

Two goals from Nicky MacDougall and one from midfielder David Ronald sealed the win for the Dookers and ended a run of five games without scoring.

Tarbert had several efforts on target before opening the scoring on 20 minutes with MacDougall beating his marker before calmly finishing.

With the score 1-0 at half time, Tarbert were keen to end the season on a high.

A fine move allowed Ronald to shoot at goal on 60 minutes to make it 2-0 and another fine pass from midfield put MacDougall through to clinch the match with 10 minutes left.

The club thanks all its supporters and sponsors for their continued backing.

Despite challenges this year, several young players have establishe­d their place in the squad which is encouragin­g for next season.
