The restaurant’s suppliers are selected with traditiona­l Scottish tastes in mind, but also lead with quality and range. The island itself is also a supplier, adding home-grown vegetables and herbs to the dishes, selected by ‘green fingered’ chefs from the kitchen’s own garden. The Deck is open all year round (restricted winter hours) and is the perfect spot for residents and non-residents to meet for morning coffee, late lunch or early evening dinner, with dining available from 12.3Opm until 6.3Opm. Along with ESPA’s profession­al products the spa also uses ishga, a 1OO per cent organic Scottish product from The Hebrides, using ingredient­s straight from the sea. Seaweed is one of the leading ingredient­s which is known for its anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties. Hosting an indoor sports hall, Eriska offers sports from tennis and badminton to football or table tennis. The Eriska Links Golf Course began life in 199S and has now evolved into a six-hole course. The ethos behind the course is for it to melt and immerse into the landscape, the course naturally follows the West Coast of the island making this a gem of a course. It has its quirky challenges for the experience­d players but also a thrilling game for beginners, starting from £15 for a day pass, it also offers a peaceful and scenic walk for the caddy. Along with the course, the island offers practice facilities and driving range to hone and refine your game, finishing in front of The Deck Restaurant where you can enjoy a drink or meal with your tactical talk.
