Vein finder fund – still time to buy your tickets

-

THERE is still time to buy raffle tickets to support the purchase of a special piece of kit for Mid Argyll Community Hospital. Tarbert Masonic Lodge launched a grand raffle earlier this year to raise £4,500 to buy a vein finder for the Lochgilphead hospital.

Up for grabs in the draw is an original painting of the Crinan Canal, valued at £800, donated by Tarbert land and seascape artist Stuart Herd.

The raffle will be drawn in August 2017.

The vein finding kit will help medical staff to locate a suitable vein – which can be a prob- lem when the veins are very small or deep.

Lodge member Hector Thomson said a vein finder would mean success ‘first time, every time’.

Support

He added: ‘We would urge people to support this by getting their tickets soon. It won’t be long until the draw is made, and we don’t want people to miss out.’

Tickets are on sale from the Harbour Gallery in Tarbert, members of Lodge Tarbert, from Mid Argyll Hospital and at various other outlets around Mid Argyll.
