Putting on a show at Crinan Harbour
IF relishing the limelight, a bold young otter has been putting on regular shows for tourists at Crinan Harbour.
The mammal has proved a big hit for passengers on boat trips out of Crinan. Sandy Campbell of Venture West told the Advertiser: ‘The otter has been making an appearance for about three weeks. It looks like one of last year’s young, and isn’t at all fazed by being close to people. It can be up to two metres away and doesn’t bat an eyelid.
‘The otter has certainly offered our passengers the chance to get some good pictures.’
