Glentress Forest Lodges is a brand new developmen­t offering the experience of outdoor living in one of their comfortabl­e and safe timber wigwams. Glentress is adjacent to the Glentress forest’s 7stanes mountain bike trails, the number one mountain biking centre in the UK. The high wire adventures of Go Ape Glentress is a minute’s walk away – and Glentress guests receive a 10 per cent discount.

Available to rent on a per night basis, the timber-framed wigwams can sleep three people in comfort and up to five people if required. They also have camping and motorhome pitches available, some with electric hook-ups.

There are excellent shower and toilet facilities as well as a communal kitchen. For mountain bikers, there is a purpose-built storage and cleaning facilities where bikes and equipment can be cleaned and stored securely. Other services include the supply of barbecue fuel and campfire logs. Free wi-fi is available.
