Happy Easter

After a long, cold, winter isn’t it wonderful to welcome Eastertide and the lighter evenings and the much-anticipated arrival of spring!

-

EASTER is early this year but here is a conundrum: it might well be early in the calendar but it seems we have been waiting for it for so long after a bitterly cold spell of weather.

Winter does seem to have dragged this year, doesn’t it? The daffodils all seem to have waited, shivering, to come out and greet the spring.

It is a time for shaking off winter and getting out and about – whether that is meeting up with our families and friends, venturing out into the countryside or beginning to enjoy our gardens.

It is a time when migrating birds and animals start to arrive back in the West Highlands and our tourist season begins to build.

Now that Easter is here let’s all enjoy the awakening of new growth, new life in the fields around us, the lengthening days and the Christian celebrations at the heart of the holiday.

Now that the focus for quick-fire colour boosters is gaining momentum, L’Oréal Professionnel is launching a brand new colouring system that aims to shake up the way we colour our hair forever.

• Think of Instant Highlights as a seasonal refresher, a tonal top-up that, like make-up contouring, uses patches of light and shade to flatter your shape.

• The clever folk at L’Oréal Professionnel have come up with yet another brainwave as they introduce the new service, Instant Highlights, into salons this month. It uses special heat technology to speed up the hair colouring process so your hair will be touched up and treated in 20mins. Kerry Dickson said “I am so proud of our staff. All are competent to carry out this process as they have recently been trained with our Loreal professional colour technician. It really is an exciting time for us. Investing in our staff is paramount as we continue to go from strength to strength.”
