Inveraray Castle’s ‘amazing staff’ earn customer award

-

INVERARAY Castle has won another award for excellence, based on the views of visitors.

The award was given by Irish coach tour operator CIE Tours International, which recognises the UK’s hotels and visitor attractions by presenting a merit award to those who have received a greater than 90 per cent customer satisfaction rating.

For the past five years, Inveraray Castle has earned an award of excellence, which this year was based on the feedback of the 15,000 visitors CIE brought to the UK in 2017.

Representatives from the castle attended an awards ceremony on April 10 at House for an Art Lover in Glasgow.

Elizabeth Crabill, chief executive of CIE Tours International, said: ‘The growth we are experiencing in the UK is fantastic and the level of customer satisfaction achieved by our suppliers plays a vital role in our success, which is why it is gratifying to recognise excellence in this, our fifth annual UK awards.

‘All of the recipients play a role in our growth by welcoming our visitors and ensuring that they have a memorable experience.

‘The rise in standards in only five years in our UK providers is remarkable and it proves that people’s efforts in striving for high standards pays off.’

Inveraray Castle manager Jane Young said: ‘I am thrilled and delighted Inveraray Castle has successfully achieved five consecutive awards since the awards were first introduced.

‘These awards are all down to the amazing staff who work tirelessly to ensure all tourists to the castle have a wonderful visitor experience.’
