Drug offence

A man was issued with a police warning for possessing drugs at 3am on Saturday July 7 in Ardrishaig.

Drunk woman

A woman, arrested in Lochgilphe­ad for being drunk and incapable at 11pm on Sunday July 8, was given a police warning and left in the care of her family.

Drugs possession

At 6am on Saturday July 7 in Ardrishaig, two men were arrested for possessing controlled drugs and were issued with a police warning.

Phone scam

After reports of people receiving a voicemail from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs threatenin­g ‘serious legal implicatio­ns’, police called the number provided.

Constable MacLeod called 01273 252080 and a Pakistan national answered. PC MacLeod identified himself as a police officer and asked for details but the caller began speaking in his national language and hung up.

Church vandalism

A window in Lochgilphe­ad Parish Church was smashed sometime between Monday July 2 and Tuesday July 3. Police are appealing for witnesses.
