Take the high road with Arrochar 10K

-

The Arrochar 10K kicked off on Saturday September 15 with great enthusiasm.

Hosted by Arrochar Running Club, more than 130 runners signed up for the marathon which saw them dash from Succoth, through the hills offroad and back up the A83 to Succoth again.

The first place winners were Kristian Watson for the men with a time of 36 minutes and six seconds, and Chloe Murphy for the women with a time of 45 minutes and 45 seconds. Hot on their tails were, for the men, David Savage with 36 minutes and 53 seconds and Marc Bromwich in third with a time of 37 minutes and 22 seconds. Second placed woman was Laura Gray with a time of 45 minutes and 59 seconds and in third was Kirsty McLeish at 46 minutes and 37 seconds.

The finishers were met with well-deserved pats on the back as well as goody bags and refreshments from Argyll and Bute Health and Wellbeing Network.
