Theft from prop­erty

A break-in oc­curred at Sem­ples Garage in In­ver­aray and a small amount of money was stolen some time be­tween 8pm on Sun­day Septem­ber 9 and 7am on Mon­day Septem­ber 10.

Con­sta­ble Stephanie Kirk and CID of­fi­cers are in­ves­ti­gat­ing and are keen to speak to any wit­nesses or to any­one with any in­for­ma­tion.

Quarry View Gar­den Cen­tre, Crarae near Mi­nard was the sub­ject of an at­tempted break-in and as a re­sult a win­dow was dam­aged some time be­tween 5pm on Sun­day Septem­ber 9 and 8am on Mon­day Septem­ber 10. Con­sta­ble Stu­art Charnock and CID of­fi­cers are in­ves­ti­gat­ing and are keen to speak to any wit­nesses or to any­one with any in­for­ma­tion.

At some point be­tween 8pm on Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 12 and 6pm Thurs­day Septem­ber 13, the old coast­guard store in In­ver­aray was the sub­ject of a break-in and a num­ber of tools were stolen from in­side. Con­sta­ble Joanne Gra­ham is in­ves­ti­gat­ing and is keen to speak to any po­ten­tial wit­nesses or to any­one with any in­for­ma­tion.

Theft of pic­ture

Some time be­tween 9am on Mon­day Septem­ber 10 and 9am on Tues­day Septem­ber 11 a pic­ture was stolen from the Grey Gull Ho­tel, Glen­burn Road, Ar­dr­ishaig. The pic­ture is a print of a map. Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.

Dis­tur­bance

About 1pm on Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 12 in Manse Brae, Lochgilp­head a mi­nor dis­tur­bance took place.

No-one was in­jured. Po­lice were in­formed and as a re­sult of en­quiries three men, aged 58, 42 and 19 were is­sued with warn­ings.

Speed­ing

About 6pm on Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 12 on the A83 near to Lochgilp­head Joint Cam­pus a 51-year-old male mo­torist was found to be ex­ceed­ing the speed limit. He was stopped by po­lice, charged with a speed­ing of­fence and a re­port is be­ing sub­mit­ted to the procu­ra­tor fis­cal.
