Do you know an extraordinary young person to nominate?
Do you know someone in Argyll and Bute, aged between 11 and 25 years, who is truly inspirational?
You can now put their name forward for an Argyll and Bute Youth Award, aimed at celebrating the achievements of the region’s young people.
Awards will be presented in different categories, including:
Unsung Hero Award – for a young person who goes the extra mile or overcomes adversity but never asks for any recognition or reward.
Youth Entrepreneur Award – for demonstrating entrepreneurial and business skills in the commercial or third sector.
Youth Volunteering Award – for someone who gives up their time and energy free of charge to help others.
Health and Well-being – for young person or group that tackle health issues.
Youth Environment Award
– for people who give time and effort to help protect the world for future generations.
Citizenship Award – celebrating work by a young person or group which improves the lives of people within their community.
Youth Arts Award – for a young person who has made a difference to their community by sharing their time or creations.
Sporting Award – recognising extraordinary sporting achievements or volunteering in sport.
Make sure you have your nominations in before midnight on Sunday November 17.
