Do you know an extraordin­ary young person to nominate?

Do you know someone in Argyll and Bute, aged between 11 and 25 years, who is truly inspiratio­nal?

You can now put their name forward for an Argyll and Bute Youth Award, aimed at celebratin­g the achievemen­ts of the region’s young people.

Awards will be presented in different categories, including:

Unsung Hero Award – for a young person who goes the extra mile or overcomes adversity but never asks for any recognitio­n or reward.

Youth Entreprene­ur Award – for demonstrat­ing entreprene­urial and business skills in the commercial or third sector.

Youth Volunteeri­ng Award – for someone who gives up their time and energy free of charge to help others.

Health and Well-being – for young person or group that tackle health issues.

Youth Environmen­t Award

– for people who give time and effort to help protect the world for future generation­s.

Citizenshi­p Award – celebratin­g work by a young person or group which improves the lives of people within their community.

Youth Arts Award – for a young person who has made a difference to their community by sharing their time or creations.

Sporting Award – recognisin­g extraordin­ary sporting achievemen­ts or volunteeri­ng in sport.

Make sure you have your nomination­s in before midnight on Sunday November 17.
