Ardrishaig reader Cheryl Ratcliffe-Nye supplied this week’s featured photograph, showing a fingerpost as Loch a’Bharain, a reservoir for the Crinan Canal. Cheryl said: ‘It is used by Mid Argyll Radio Sailing Club, and I’m told it’s a popular spot for fishing and swimming. There must be a few good fish as well, as an osprey had been a recent visitor.’
