Coastguard water rescue training at Crarae

Inveraray Coastguard Rescue Team returned to operational training on Saturday September 12 for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

After completing a series of online skills checks, volunteers spent the day practising water rescue techniques with Senior Coastal Operations Officer Alec Wallace. The training session included Covid mitigation measures designed to keep coastguard personnel and the public safe.
