NUMERO DIX HAIR SALON
Numero Dix Hair Salon is a family-run business which was established in 1976 by Morag McKinven and her then business partner Moira Watson.
Morag’s daughter Kerry Dickson trained at the Central College of Commerce in Glasgow and returned home to join her mother and the salon staff in the business.
Kerry has been in the salon for 40 years working alongside her mother.
Now Kerry’s daughter Louise Mitchell, who also trained in Glasgow, has been hairdressing for more than six years and works in the salon, giving Numero Dix Hair Salon three generations working alongside each other.
Kerry said: ‘We also have Emily who joined us in December from Cannock in Staffordshire who completes our fantastic team. Emily trained in-house with the prestigious internationally renowned Royston Blythe group of salons
Our aim is to provide our clients with a high-quality service and making their time with us an enjoyable experience. We love to ensure everyone leaves the salon looking and feeling special.
‘As styles and trends change so frequently, we pride ourselves on continual training across all aspects of hairdressing,’ Kerry said.
In-salon training days are a regular occurrence at Numero Dix Hair Salon as well as attending specialist master classes in advanced cutting, styling and colouring. The ongoing training and development of skills within the team at Numero Dix Hair Salon is something that Morag and Kerry have believed in always and see as a core value in their continued business success.
‘Over the years we have had numerous stylists in the salon, all of whom have gone on to further their careers. We are proud to be a L’Oreal Professional Salon and also a GHD Premier Salon Partner,’ said Kerry.
