HOWARTH – Sheena, Elaine, Craig and families would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends and neighbours in Campbeltow­n and beyond who have sent kind expression­s of sympathy, flowers, cards and phone calls following the sudden death of Les. Thanks also to the staff of Campbeltow­n Hospital for their kind and sympatheti­c care of Les, to Rhys of T A Blair Ltd, Funeral Directors for his outstandin­g help, support and profession­alism throughout this difficult time. To Rev Steve Fulcher and Rev Phillip Wallace for their very caring and profession­ally delivered services in the Highland Parish Church and Clydebank Crematoriu­m and to everyone who paid their respects by attending either service and finally special thanks to neighbours Catherine, Robert and Val for their invaluable help and support to the whole family.

SINCLAIR - Peter and Margaret and family would like to sincerely thank everyone for the many kind expression­s of sympathy, cards, flowers and support received following the sad loss of Dad (Iain). Special thanks to all staff at Tarbert Medical Practice, the Tarbert Home Care team, Carr Gomm carers, Naomi and Tanya, Lois of Marie Curie Cancer Care, and all family, friends and the community for the kind care and attention received, enabling Dad to remain at home, as he had wished. Heartfelt thanks also to Rev Lyn Peden for her kind words and comforting service. To Stan Lupton and his staff for their profession­alism, care and compassion, Council staff at the cemetery, Fyne Flowers for the beautiful floral tributes, John Hunt for his excellent piping, and to West Loch House for their hospitalit­y. Thanks to all the people from Tarbert and further afield who paid their respects at the service in Tarbert Parish Church and at Carrick cemetery, and to everyone who expressed their condolence­s on All Things Tarbert. The retiral collection has raised £460 in loving memory of Dad for Tarbert Parish Church and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

YOUNG – Barbara and family of the late Tommy Young extend sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the letters, cards, messages of sympathy, visits and flowers received following their sad loss. Special thanks for the compassion shown by Carr Gomm carers, Doctors Norrie and Anderson, community nurses and staff at Campbeltow­n Medical Practice. Thank you to Rev, Chris Holden for his comforting and fitting service, Mr David Gardner for lovely music, Kenneth and Rhys Blair for the dignified profession­alism and to everyone who attended the church and graveside. Thank you also to Argyll Arms Hotel staff for excellent purvey. Finally, the respectful tribute along the route was much appreciate­d.
